WHEN EXPECTATION DOESN'T MEET REALITY

I love online shopping. Everything looks positive, there are a lot of advantages like it is convenient, the products are cheaper plus there are freebies or rebates. It is the perfect way to shop for lazy people like me. Most of my make up are from the online stores since it is cheaper there. And I am always satisfied with the products I bought and with their service.

This time, I would like to share my experience with Kkochipida. I have known this store from Facebook and they have cheap products. The good thing is that they also have Korean products that are new like Etude House Zero Sebum Drying Powder and the Etude House Beauty Shot Face Blur. They also handle some products that are on sale. They are a legit online store with more than 8k likes. If that is not a proof of a legit store, then I don't know what will convince you. Anyway, they are known for their fast transaction and the owner is very accommodating. She entertains questions and your concerns which is a good thing for a customer. And I have read some reviews about Kkochipida and everyone has a good feedback.

With all of this positive feedback that I have read, I don't know what happened to mine. I have ordered Etude House Beauty Shot Face Blur last August 19 and paid it the next day. Send the copy of the deposit slip and I patiently wait for my order. It was August 26 when I asked them about my order since  I haven't recieved it yet. The owner told me that she forgot to update my order so she will ship it that day and promised to give freebies as a token. I am impressed because she admitted her mistake and give an offer to make things up for me. After all, it is almost a week that has passed. Anyway, I texted her again last Sunday and told me that it was already shipped she told me to expect my order on Monday. It was already 8 pm and my order hasn't arrived yet. She told me that maybe the courier have a delay and again, she said sorry. I feel irritated this time, I am actually grumpy because 9 days have passed any m order hasn't arrived yet. I mean, what will you feel if you are in my situation right? I guess medyo maiinis din kayo. I just got my package yesterday around 6:30 pm. Finallyyyyy it arrived! I even asked the sender why it took him so long and he told me that my order was just shipped yesterday (September 1.) I thought he was joking but he showed me the reciept and it is clear that it was just shipped last September 1. I feel mad. I didn't expect that they will ship it just last September 1 wherein fact, it should be shipped last August 20.

I opened my package at I just saw my order. Where are the freebies she was talking about? Ofcourse it is not really included to my order but she told me there will be some freebies so I am expecting atleast one or two. I informed her that I recieved my package just that night and told her about the date of the shipment and about the freebies. My main concern here is the date of the shipment of my product. I have the right to ask because I paid it August 20 before 12pm so I am expecting my order will be included to the same day shipping but look what happened. It arrived let without the" token" she promised to me and she lied about the day of the shipment. Who would not be disappointed to that?

I guess my knowledge about Marketing help me to realize what a customer can expect such as the service of the company. If  everyone sells the same product at the same price, it will only come down to customer service including how they handle customer's complaints and inquiries. I am expecting a fast, convenient and easy transaction with the store however it didn't happened to me. I paid early or on time naman so there is no reason to delay my order. However, I understand that they can't always be perfect and they sometimes make mistakes. It is nice that they admitted that but delaying my order again for few days is not understandable anymore. More importantly,  I asked them if they already shipped it and they said yes then I will just see the receipt that shows it was shipped just last September 1? Even though they told me that they are busy with their new business and they have no more freebies to offer, atleast they should inform me that they just shipped my order last September and told me what is inside my package so I won't expect anything na lang.

I hate companies that doesn't offer good service to be honest. That is one of the reasons why I go back to the store. The accommodating staffs, good service and their relationship to their customers matters to me. So when I read the reviews about Kkochipida, I am expecting the same experience of their customers. Sad to say, I am not happy with my first transaction.

I would still like to have other transactions with them and try if they will make me happy with their service next time. Everyone deserves second chance right? After all, the owner apologize for what happened. I guess, it is safe not to expect things next time so it won't disappointment me.

Overall, I still recommend Kkochipida if you are looking for a legit online stores that sells 100% authentic korean make up products at a lower price. They have some of our favorite brands like Etude House, Too Cool for School, Tony Moly, Holika Holika and more. There are a lot of products to choose from and the owner answers your messages. I hope they can improve their customer service next time and make sure that they ship their customer's products or if they forgot, they should be the one who would text first.
