ON MY LIST: THE BODY SHOP ALOE MOIST LOTION

Happy Friday everyone! I have something new for you: On my list. It is my own series of the products that I have tested and love to use. Here lies all of my favorite products so you could have an idea of what I am enjoying to use at the moment. Let's start what is on my list! :)

What is the plant that helps soothe, moisturize and is good for sun-burned skin?
That's right Aloe Vera!

Aloe vera is one of the plants that I trust to use on my skin. Whenever I feel that my skin needs a "break" from all the products that I test, I use products that contains aloe vera to help soothe and calm my skin.

Last Anniversary of the Body Shop, I got this Aloe Moist Lotion P795.

That time, the heat was so intense that my face turns red literally by just staying under the sun for a few minutes and I can't stand that situation anymore. I find my previous toner drying out my skin and then when I apply moisturizer it feels heavy although it is a gel type. That is how intense the weather so I decided to change products for my skincare routine.

"Our Community Trade Aloe Vera comes from the El Progreso region of Guatamela. It is hand collected, hand washed, and hand prepared, all within 12 hours of harvesting, to prevent any adulterations to the natural purity of the aloe. The highest quality pure aloe vera for pure skin soothing heaven."

Ingredients:
Aqua, Glycerin, Glycereth-26, Dipropylene Glycol, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Myristamidopropyl PG- Dimonium, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Betaine, PEG-32, Lactic Acid, Serre, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Disodium EDTAm Sodium Chloride, Allantoin.

Just by looking at the ingredients, I was a little bit worried about some of it because I am not familiar with stuffs like PEG-32 but don't worry I will find time to search for what are these and tell you if it is safe or not. Honestly, I like products that have less ingredients. It just that less is more. The less ingredients it contain the more you get from the key ingredients. Meaning it is more natural and organic.

Anyway, The Body Shop Aloe Moist Lotion is for sensitive skin. I have found on the body shop website that their are aloe range like calming too. I guess I should have buy that too. Even if this is for sensitive skin it is still okay to use for normal, dry, or combination skin IMO. After all, the main ingredient is aloe vera which is good for all skin types plus this is suited for sensitive skin so it is a gentle product.

It is a clear, almost like water in consistency. It has a light aloe vera scent to it and it is not overpowering. The scent don't also stay on the skin for a long time. What I like about this is that it is color, fragrance and alcohol free which is a major plus for me! I don't like skincare products that contains alcohol. As much as possible, I would like to settle for fragrance and alcohol free products.

I use this morning and night for 1 month and two weeks now and it really helps in clearing the bumps on my right cheek. My skin felt smoother, plump and fresh. I am amazed with the results it give me, it calmed my skin redness and bumps are almost gone. This is very light and easily absorbed easily on my skin. Very moisturizing as what it claims so in the morning I skip moisturizer and just apply sunscreen after this and I am good to go.

Overall, I am happy to have the The Body Shop Aloe Moist Lotion. It is light, soothing and moisturizing- a must for girls who are looking for  a gentle everyday toner.
