Originally, the title of this post should be "ALMOST GONE" but when I saw all the products that I have emptied, I realized that they were all green and so I have changed the title in last minute. For the first time in my months of blogging, I now have an "Empty Products" post but don't expect me to give you this every month since I don't honestly empty anything within a month. I want this blog to be realistic and that is the reality. I don't force myself to finish up a product just to give you at the end of the month a post telling that I am happy for consuming this or that. Anyways, all the products aside from being color green are all smelling good. It is kind of funny that all their scents are not what I usually go for everyday but yeah, they smell good. Addicting.
This duo from The Body Shop Olive range is the bomb! Its scent is so perfect for me and I think even for my personality. Its musky yet feminine, bold but not overpowering and I love it so much. It just have a unique scent to it that everyone will really adore and it doesn't smell like the olive oil we use in the kitchen that's why I like it. The shower gel doesn't foam up but it makes me feel like my skin is clean without stripping the moisture on my skin and a little goes a long way. I am using this shower gel for atleast thrice a week for day and night but I still have a tiny portion there which I think I can still use for two weeks. The Body Shop's body butters are my all time favorite product in the store. If you haven't purchased this babies yet, you are missing a lot in the world of moisturizers. Their body butters really moisturizes the skin for the whole day and can even last for two days. The scent will linger on the skin for a long time even if you will commute, the scent will stay there. I look funny sometimes when I sniff my wrist and I can still smell the scent and I will just smile while the people around are curious why I am smiling. The scent of these two are really addicting.
Ahhh, my daytime moisturizer for three months. I love how light this is yet very hydrating on the skin. I have reviewed it here. This is one of the most affordable multi purpose moisturizer you can find in the market and it haven't failed me in giving soft, supple, hydrated and instantly cooled skin.
Last on the list is the L'Oreal Ever Strong Sulfate-Free Fortify System Reconstruct Shampoo. It is one of the products in the market that are hard to find before but I saw this recently at a local drugstore. I never had a problem anymore with falling hair after using this shampoo. It makes my hair stronger, softer and healthier. It is the only shampoo that doesn't make my hair stiff after used and I love the scent of it. Very invigorating and relaxing at the same time.
And that is the end of my Emptied Products so let's move on to the new stuffs I got this month. First on the list is Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Moroccan Beauty Oil specifically made for sensitive skin. I have been eyeing this for months and when I am at The Healthy Options, I will always test this on my skin and I always leave their store feeling happy. It is very light on the skin and very moisturizing. I don't mind the scent at all as it feels like I have tons of roses on top of my head as I use this. I am still trying it out and will update you on how good it works.
I treated myself a new sunblock this month and my personal choice is Biore Aqua Rich Whitening Essence with SPF 50 PA++++. I am challenging myself to minimize the use of make up for everyday just because I want to focus more on making my skin better in the long run so I am investing in skincare products rather than make up. And I choose this because I am hearing good news about the brand Biore and I want to jump on the bandwagon. So far, it works really nice. It makes a little difference in making my skin appear whiter after use, not sticky and has a light refreshing citrusy scent. I am still waiting for the result if it will help in whitening my dark spots and blemishes. I will let you know if it works.
The NYX HD Concealer is my first concealer ever. I never thought that I will need a concealer for everyday use but I have been convinced as this makes a huge difference on my over all look. It brightens my under eye area and has a medium coverage. It doesn't sit on the fine lines thus doesn't emphasize your wrinkles at all.
Lastly, the NYX Gloss for Girls in No, 8 is a gift from my bestfriend/cousin Ace. It is my first NYX lip product ever and so far, I am loving it. The shade is super pretty and it brightens up my face. Wait for my review and swatch for this.
