ETUDE HOUSE ZERO SEBUM DRYING POWDER

Is it just me or our weather really makes my face oilier? My face is very oily, I think I can donate some. It is very shiny and greasy, eww. My previous face powder can't even stand the oiliness of my face and so, my search for a new face powder is on!

Last week, I went to Etude House store and saw this. No sebum? Really? Sometimes I love how things fall perfectly at the right time, just like this :) Without any hesitation, I give this a try.

Look how cute it looks! It is pretty small compare to other face powder that we have but that is what I like about it since it fits on my purse which means I can bring this to me all the time.

The powder is sealed when you purchased it. I like products that are sealed, it ensures that the user of it is really the first to try it out.

The first thing that I notice about this is that it smells like lime! It smells very fresh, I love it! I can see myself grinning from ear to ear when I use this just because of its smell. The powder is very fine and white. This is finer than a normal baby powder, it actually reminds me of Ellana mineral loose foundation.

It comes with this cute and soft micro fiber puff. Now this is not your ordinary puff that comes with other face powders, It is very soft, not a sponge so it applies smoothly on the surface of the skin.

At first, I didn't remove entirely the sticker and leave just half of it because I think it will be super messy, you know the issue about loose powders right? It gets messier and messier as time goes by. Happy to say, I didn't experience that with this. Yay!

I tried this last tuesday where I have to do some errands and go from one place to another in the busy road of Metro. I used this at 8 am in the morning. It is very translucent, like an ordinary powder and it don't have any coverage. It made my skin not so oily without looking very matte. It still looks natural with less shine on my face. I love how it leaves my skin very smooth. Some prefer using it on top of their bb creams or foundation like a finishing powder but I prefer using this alone specially during casual days.

Sorry for the low quality of this picture. This was taken inside our house with an artificial light so I can still compare it even without the natural light. The left picture was taken around 9:00 in the morning and the other one is exactly 7;00 pm. I have this on for 10 hours and I still look fresh! Upon application, my face immediately look matte. I went to school then go to the mall and went to my mother's office at Pedro Gil. The whole day, my face didn't feel very oily although the matte look fades in the afternoon, my face still looks fresh and my group mates noticed that. I didn't do any retouch so I can really see how good it works. When I arrived at Pedro Gil, I checked my face in the restroom and woah! I still look fresh and shine-free. Talk about great oil control capability! I touched my face and it is not even oily or greasy, in fact my face is smooth.

I am really impress on how it controls oil for almost half the day. It is seldom for a powder that promises "long-lasting" freshness to actually do its job but Etude House Zero Sebum Drying Powder takes it seriously. So far this is the only powder that gives me 10 hour shine-free face. It that doesn't impress you, I don't know what will. Plus it has a refreshing citrusy scent that lifts my mood when I am tired. It is affordable too for only 398 pesos.

If you are looking for a powder that helps absorbs oil leaving you looking fresh all day long, do check this out. This is really amaaazzziinnggg!
