REVLON COLORBURST BALMSTAIN IN LOVESICK

And I'm bbaaaaacccckkkkk! I know, I know. :( I have been dead for a week and a half plus I haven't finished my Maybelline Week post even though I have everything prepared. As much as I like to post all of it, sadly, I have encountered an emotionally draining situation which made me look like a frog- an ugly frog. I know I wouldn't look good on pictures so I decided not to post it anymore. As you can see, I have changed the  titles of my previous posts. To make it all up to you, I will try my best this weekend to post reviews as many as I can! ;)

Last week, I was on my cousin's room when I saw this crayon balm on her vanity desk. The hot pink tube made it stand out even more on its place and it was like just waiting for me to try it on.

I swatch it on my hand and it appeared as a hot pink. Issabelle starts explaining to me, she was only 9 years old and she wears this on school? Then she told me "Ate, pinupunasan ko ng tissue para medyo mawala." She even knows the blotting technique! I was surprised becase a nine year old girl knows this stuff. When I was nine years old, I don't even care if my mother's red lipstick was all over my face as long as I have red lips, I.Don't.Care.

She demonstrated how she uses it but refused to take a picture so I will just described it. To her, it looks like she just finished eating a "Lipps" candy in strawberry. You know that candy we see in commercial that is available in different colors? It really looks good on her, it looks very natural that I can't even tell she wears something. Now it is my turn to try it out, aaaahhhh, so excited!


I immediately fell in love with this because it smells minty, like a peppermint candy to be exact. It glides smoothly on my lips and with just one swipe, I can feel how moisturizing it is. I expect it to have a minty sensation because of it smells but its not. I still love its smells and it makes my breath a little fresher too. :)

It is very opaque with one swipe, with two quotes the color is vavavooom! Lovesick looks very pink on lips, a fuchsia pink to be exact. It has micro shimmers that make your lips extra shiny. It made me look girly and sweet. Let's try another picture, this time not a close up.


See how it still made me look like a nice and girly person though I have my glasses on? By the way, that is no my hand. Issabelle did a peace sign while I was taking my picture and she insisted that I should use this because it made me look cute daw. :p

I tried blotting my lips to remove the excess color and I love the result, it looks natural like I just ate a Lipps candy but I prefer not to blot it, leaving it as it is just because I want the shine that it gives on my lips.

All in all, this is an unusual color for me but I love it in the end. It is moisturizing and hydrating, the color is great as it brighten up my face, staying power is up to 3 hours and it smells minty! I will definitely buy one for myself... or maybe two!
