HAPPY SKIN HOW TO TAKE THE PERFECT SELFIE

The moment that I had this, I immediately want to swatch it all and make a post so here it is! This is my first ever lippie set from Happy Skin and my sister gave it to me as a gift for my birthday. The How To Take The Perfect Selfie (P1495) is one of their four lippie set for the Holiday 2015 Collection.

The hardbound book houses the three moisturizing lippie. The packaging is very pretty and super adorable. Tangerine is my favorite color this year and I super adore this one. Happy Skin never fails in their packaging, I like how it has the right balance of girly and sophistication with the gold prints on it. It serves as a decor on my room too and my friends keep on asking me what it is. :)


This set contains three moisturizing lippies which includes Strike A Pose, Pucker Up and Stay Happy. All the shades reminds me of holiday candies that I used to eat when I was a kid. This my friend, is the chocolate box version for lip junkies.


Here is the arm swatches of the three lippies. I have a weird arm pose here now I am starting to wonder why I did that. Anyway, from left to right, Stay Happy  is described by Happy Skin as an earthy peach,Pucker Up is a light mauve and Strike A Pose is a berry color. The three shades are very wearable for everyday look specially the Stay Happy.


Stay Happy is my favorite shade among the three it reminds me of their Summer Fling which is a peachy pink everyday lip color. This will look good as an everyday lip color or when I want to have a demure color on my lips. The formula of it is the same with the other Happy Skin Shut Up and Kiss Me moisturizing lippie but for those who are not familiar with the brand, their moisturizing lippie offers three-fold "lip service", the shine of a gloss, the pigment of a lipstick and the hydration of a balm. I don't need to use any lip balm anymore if I want to apply this and the color last for 4-5 hours.


The second shade is the Pucker Up. This color is flattering to all skin shades in my opinion because it is not too bright nor too dark kind of mauve. This is a nice lip color for work and I think I will abuse this once I work as an intern. What I like about this shade is that it makes my teeth whiter. There are some mauve and red color that makes my teeth yellowish so I am happy that this one isn't it.


The only thing I hate about this picture is my uneven application of the lipstick! See? It didn't give justice to how beautiful this berry shade is! Strike A Pose  is the boldest shade among the three. It is the only berry shade that compliments my skin. It doesn't look like old-fashioned kind of berry shade it has the "power" to lift your over all look instantly but it is kind of too bold in the morning but it is the to go party shade or for an evening look. Though it is not matte, it is not very shiny or glittery either. It leaves a nice stain once it started to fade.

The Happy Skin How To Take The Perfect Selfie is a beautiful set of lipsticks. Each has its own characteristics that compliments your mood for every selfie you want to take. There is the Stay Happy if you want a fresh, natural look. The Pucker Up for a flattering lady-like kind of pose and the Strike A Pose for a bold statement look. All the shades are pretty on its own and can be mix and match as well to have a unique color. The formula is superb! If you haven't tried any lip products from Happy Skin, you are missing a lot in the lipstick world! They have the best formula ever. It doesn't matter what shade you get, even their bloody red is super moisturizing and will never dry your lips! The same goes with their matte lippies, it is matte but doesn't dry out the lips nor emphasize the lines. It lasts for 4 to 5 hours and fades evenly on the lips.
